Submitting a paper direct to Cabinet request template

The deadline for Cabinet and Cabinet committee submissions is 10:00am on Thursday for consideration during the following week.

Approval to submit a paper direct to Cabinet request must be obtained from the responsible Minister before the request is made. The Chair of Cabinet determines whether requests for a paper direct to Cabinet are accepted or declined.  

Copy the form attached in the word document below to notify the Cabinet Office of the Minister’s request for a proposed paper direct to Cabinet.

The email containing the completed form should be sent to cabpapers@dpmc.govt.nz. The Cabinet Office will ensure that the request is processed and a response provided.
